Our Programmes
The Mossbourne Architecture and Built Environment programme introduces students to the world of Architecture and other built environment fields, including Structural Engineering and Urban Planning, opening up career paths they might not have considered otherwise.
The Mossbourne Honourable Artillery Company Combined Cadet Force programme is designed to help students become confident and well-rounded young adults. Cadets participate in fun and challenging activities that promote leadership skills, effective communication, teamwork, integrity and resourcefulness.
Designed to raise awareness of the many different career paths in Healthcare, the activities run by the Mossbourne Medical Society range from NHS Cadets to providing guidance and support to Year 13 students applying to study Medicine, Dentistry or Veterinary Science at university.
Whether it is playing in an orchestra or singing in a choir, Mossbourne’s extra-curricular music programme offers students access to a variety of activities that not only enhance their social and cultural capital, but also support key elements of academic achievement, including listening skills and self-discipline.
Participation in sport has a positive impact on students’ physical and mental wellbeing. It also encourages the development of key life skills – communication, teamwork, resilience – helping them reach their full potential in the classroom and beyond.
